Start by brushing your brow hairs down with a clean spoolie to see the base of your brow and identify any sparse areas. This will also help you find your natural brow shape, which serves as a guide for shaping your ideal brow. Brush up to groom hairs into place.

Line up your favorite eyebrow brow pencil vertically at the edge of your nose (seen here is our Long-Wear Brow Pencil). Use the pencil to mark the point where the line meets your brow. This mark is the head of your brow.

Tilt the pencil until it is aligned with the outside of your iris, keeping the lower part lined up with your nose. Mark the spot where the pencil meets your brow; this is the arch of your brow.

Tilt the pencil again until it is aligned with the outer corner of your eye. Mark the spot along your brow using a 45-degree angle. This is where the tail of your brow should end.

Use these three marks as an outline to your ideal brow. Fill in the shape with light, feathery strokes. Avoid drawing a line to “connect the dots”. Make sure the fullness is consistent from the head of the brow to the arch, then taper into the tail.
