IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EYEBROW PENCILS AND EYEBROW POWDERS OR GELS?

Powders are great to use if you have a full brow that just needs a touch of perfection. For more definition and to fill in gaps, an eyebrow pencil is your go-to. Gel formulas add soft hold, and some have a tint of color.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LONG-WEAR EYEBROW PENCIL AND MICRO EYEBROW PENCIL?

The Long-Wear Eyebrow Pencil shapes, shades, and fills, while the Micro Eyebrow Pencil is designed to fill in sparse spots and deliver detailed definition to barely-there brows.

CAN I USE AN EYEBROW PENCIL TO ACHIEVE A NATURAL LOOK?

Yes, eyebrow pencils can be very natural looking. One tip for a natural look is to use two shades: a lighter shade at the head of your brows and a darker shade in the middle and at ends.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT SHADE OF EYEBROW PENCIL FOR MY HAIR COLOR?

It’s not about matching your hair color exactly, but rather how you incorporate the shading and structure into the existing tones in your brow. Here’s a loose guide to matching your brow shade: Espresso for dark brown to black brows, Neutral Brown for light to medium brown brows, Rich Brown for redheads and strawberry blondes, Sandy Blonde for blond hair, and Slate for grey and white hair. HOW DO I ACHIEVE A DEFINED ARCH WITH AN EYEBROW PENCIL?

You can watch our How To video “Shape Your Ideal Brow.” Begin shaping by combing brow hairs down with the spoolie on our Long-Wear Eyebrow Pencil. Next, find where your eyebrow shape should start by holding a pencil (or thin brush) against your nostril and aligning it with the inner corner of your eye. This is where the brow should begin. Next, find your arch’s high point: tilt the top of the pencil about 45 degrees so it aligns with your pupil, while still holding it against your nostril. To determine where your eyebrow should end, tilt the pencil further so it lines up with the outer corner of your eye, still keeping it aligned to your nose’s edge. Now that you know the position of your brow points, you can outline and fill your brows.
